I was really excited when I ordered my itaki, but it surpassed my expectations! I use it all the time at work. It’s so popular that my coworkers are naming the office kitchen “Llanette’s kitchen “ because I cook so often! I love my itaki. Great work guys!

Hopefully, there will be a new shabuki pot model that is not plastic, but something different which am sure that it will take time and effort.

The material is so thin and the steamer is also thin and cheaply made. The steamer holes cut my fingers. After trying it out only once, the pot aldy stained with a rainbow color and only used to heat up soup. Would not survive if u fried ur food in there. Don’t purchase. All fake advertisements.

Very bad customer service from Itaki Co. Ask them to ship item quickly as I was traveling from NZ to YS and needed this dude to dietary requirements but they were very slow. Responses are very slow. Then asked them for return as then item arrived too late, (I had left the hotel after 6 days and the item still hadn't arrived) They didn't bother responding to my emails via website or email. I even offered to keep the item of they will re ship to my NZ address. But no response. I don't recommend to anyone to buy from them. Very disappointed

It's perfect and so reliable. I've had similar electric pots from other companies that didn't work nearly as well as this one. I'm confident and comfortable when using my Shabuki Pot and I use it pretty much every day. I travel a lot for work and it's the first thing I pack to go along with me. I love it and it didn't take long for my husband to try and take it from me. :)

Love how fast it boils water and being able to add a steamer on top. Also great there’s a see thru glass lid. Super easy to use. Wish the pot was designed so that the base could be removed from the plastic part for ease of cleaning and no worry of getting the electrical plug or bottom wet.

I'm disappointed. Such a great hype and expectation but the noodles burn down in a single place and other places and the rest it does not get crispy at all. Tried with different amount of butter, it's burned on the same spot) Definitely cannot be used for stir fry
Maybe for soup and stew it is great but I have a soup maker and I have pressure cooker for stew.
Unless you need it for its portability it does not provide anything extra.
Additionally the small 3 legs makes it a bit unstable unless you are holding tight on the handle (meaning holding your plate and taking food out is not working, nor holding the lid and stirring).
I emailed to the company to return but no response yet so cannot comment on the customer service and return and refund policy. I hope they don't dissapoint in that front.

Only used it once and happy with purchase very quick and cooks very well made beef chunks and steamed Brussel sprouts with snow peas and butter nut squash probably will earn 5 stars as I use it more this year.

This pot is the BEST! I use it everyday. Yesterday, I made chill on the bottom, put beans in the steamer. Had nachos in about 5 minutes. While plating the nachos I melted the cheese in the same pot. Clean up was a breeze Since using these appliances, I have not used my stove top.

Never received it. Ordered it, spent 2 weeks in Illinois, and now it's been 3 weeks and it's in New York. I live on the West Coast, so it'll eventually get there, maybe. Shipping method is a definite ROUGH estimate, so if you need it right away, get express. The product itself works well for about 2years, but the wiring will wear out if you use it everyday like I do.

The Itaki pot is perfect for making camping meals for two at yurts and cabins in Oregon and Washington state, where we have access to electricity. Also boils water fast for coffee making and for rehydrating camping meals in our thermoses!

Am so happy I bought this and luckily on special too. It is worth every dollar. It is simple to use and allows me to have a nutritious, fresh, non-expensive lunch at work. I also use it at home. Washing it for the first time was a bit worrying because I didn't want to get the power socket wet. It was nice to get the free included goodies (soup spoon and chopsticks) although the bag is a tight fit. Based on my experience I highly recommend this product. Thank you, Itakico, for a fantastic product.

I take my Itakico with me everywhere I go. This had been to Las Vegas, Lake Placid, Atlantic City and a lot more places. Very handy and compact. Don’t get the counterfit from Amazon or other sites. I purchased mine directly here. I must say the quality is superb. The cost is totally worth it. If I am given a great discount, I would purchase 2 additionals as gift for my sister and I would also like to get accessories. Thank you for bringing this to the market. Love, love, love!!!

Ever since I moved, I find myself using my Shabuki frequently. I love it!! Most of the time, I throw in whatever I want & it just works: from scratch meals to leftovers. For me, I can easily get 2 meals out of cooking in my Shabuki. It's easy to clean, too; on occasion, just a little bit of Barkeeper's Friend works perfectly.

Several weeks ago I bought the Pro and the Shabuki pot and I absolutely love them. I am cooking fresh hot meals at work, cooked to perfection! I am so excited about these products that I ordered the jumbo tonight. The only difficulty I found was the Shabuki's handle is on the right and and is difficult to handle the pot and stir if your right handed. That is the only thing I would change. I love this product.

It's our weekend personal hotpot everyone in our household has one so we don't need to go out as much and no need for sharing utensils or leftovers. We just cook whatever we want in our own. The kids love it and learning a good skill. Be aware however the Shabuki Pot doesn't come with recipebooks (we also got the Pro and those did have recipebooks but only got a pamphlet recipeguide for this one) but it's pretty much a personal stove so pretty self-explanatory either ways!

I wish I could leave a separate review for the Itaki and Shabuki hotpot but it only gave me an option for a single review. I have only good things to say about the devices themselves but the spoons I got were quite disappointing. These spoons were quite expensive and I ordered a set of 4 in black handles but I got 4 Gold ones. I've very much looked forward to these spoons as I see other people posting about them in groups so I'm quite disappointed to say the least. You should warn customers if you don't have the right colored spoons in stock so I hope you guys can correct this when you see this. I'd be happy to leave 5 star reviews for Itaki and Shabuki hotpot as it's well deserved. Thank you!

Honestly it's so useful. I don't even take it to work because it's so convenient to use at home. You could literally do anything and just make a soup on the spot. I use less stovetop than ever unless I'm cooking a big meal for the family. Honestly a lifechanger but one of those items you eventually take for granted because it becomes a part of your life. My friend came over the other day and was shocked this exists which surprised me because our family just got so used to ti!!
